SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - After seeing a big 70-mph wind gust last night at the Sioux Gateway Airport, conditions settled down as the day went along on Wednesday, although it stayed cold with highs in the 20s and 30s.

Skies will stay mostly cloudy Wednesday night and it won’t be nearly as windy. A bit of light snow could develop across parts of the region with lows in the upper teens.
Thursday’s Forecast
Thursday becomes a First Alert Weather Day for the potential of a combination of freezing rain, sleet, and snow.
It’s likely the most impacted area with the northern and eastern parts of the viewing region and Lincoln and Lyon Counties will be in a Winter Weather Advisory from 8 am until 6 pm on Thursday.
