Police have released the identity of the person whose remains were found in a home after an hours-long standoff in Stamford last week .
Officers responded to the home on Oaklawn Avenue on Dec. 2 after a state marshal called them concerned about her interaction with the homeowner who was being evicted .

The man inside, 63-year-old Jed Parkington fired on officers as they approached the house in armored vehicles.
A negotiator couldn't persuade Parkington to come out.
After several hours, police heard a single gunshot from inside the house. They used a drone to go in through a window and see that Parkington was dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
The drone footage also showed explosives, including a pipe bomb
