KEARNEY COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Kearney County Sheriff’s Office has identified the person killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday.

The driver of the GMC SUV, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been identified as 45-year-old Saul Barboza Montano of Minden.

According to the sheriff’s office, the GMC SUV was traveling northbound on Highway 10 when it collided with a white Ford F-250 pickup traveling eastbound on the 50-A Link at about 7:30 a.m.

The truck’s driver and passenger, both from out of state, were wearing seat belts and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Both were transported for treatment.

Barboza Montano was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
