HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Longtime City of Hastings Utility Department employee Shane Stone was promoted to the position of director of administration effective Nov. 30.

Stone, 41, has worked for the City of Hastings for 16 years. Most recently, he served as plant coordinator in the Electric Production Department.

The director of administration exercises high-level supervision and support for the Customer Service, Analytics and Energy Supply Departments.

“What really excited me about the Director of Administration role was the opportunity to collaborate with and guide these different departments,” Stone said. “I want to continue to serve and help however I can.”
