NILES - A Warren man has been indicted in connection with a stabbing that occurred in a shopping plaza in Niles last month.
According to a Trumbull County grand jury report, 52-year-old Kenyon Kellum has been indicted on one count of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault, all with repeat violent offender specifications.
The charges stem from a stabbing that occurred in the Gentry Center shopping plaza at the corner of Route 422 and Route 46 in Niles.
A witness told 21 News a couple was arguing with Kellum in the parking lot when he allegedly stabbed a male victim in the neck and ran away.
Kellum was soon found and arrested at the Days Inn hotel less than a mile away from the plaza.
Kellum is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, December 16.
