AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - An Akron man was sentenced to 15 to 20.5 years in prison on Wednesday for drug trafficking charges and his involvement in the overdose death of Austin Guildoo in 2024.

According to a release from the Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich, earlier this month, 21-year-old Victor Jackson pleaded guilty to the following 2024 charges:

One count of involuntary manslaughter – a 1 st degree felony

One count of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound – a 2 nd degree felony

One count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound – a 3 rd degree felony

Jackson also pleaded guilty to the following 2023 charges:

One count of aggravated trafficking in drugs – a 1 st degree felony;

One count of aggravated trafficking in drugs with a major drug offender specifi
