AKRON, Ohio — 21-year-old Victor Jackson was sentenced in Akron on Wednesday to serve 15-20.5 years in prison “for multiple drug trafficking charges “and his involvement in the overdose death of Austin Guildoo in 2024.”

Jackson has also been designated as a major drug offender for trafficking one pound of methamphetamine, according to Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich.

Jackson’s sentence was handed down in Summit County Common Pleas Court after the prosecutor’s office said he pleaded guilty to the following:

One count of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony

One count of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, a second-degree felony

One count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a third-degree felony

One count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fir
