Calgary police report that a man has been killed after being struck by the CTrain on Wednesday night.

At 7:30 p.m., first responders were on scene for a collision along 26th Avenue N.E. and 36th Street N.E. involving an LRT train and a male pedestrian. The location is near the Rundle LRT Station.

The CPS traffic section is investigating the death.

Police are advising that the intersection of 26th Avenue N.E. and 36th Street N.E. will be shut down in all directions as they conduct their investigation.
