A parent of a student has been charged after a campus shooting killed a teenager. The father has been charged with murder after police say he fired shots at Kentucky State University , leaving one student critically injured and another dead.

Jacod Lee Bard is alleged to have carried out the attack at the school's campus in Frankfort on Tuesday, December 9. Police said in a statement that he took aim at the victims at a hall of residence.

The shooting killed 19-year-old De’Jon Fox of Indianapolis and has left a second student in critical condition. Police have not shared the motive or circumstances of the shooting but
