Blood, beavers, and British rock stars are coming for your movie theaters.
While there are heaps of holiday movies on the schedule, there's also "Kill Bill," one of Gene Hackman's best roles, a live score for the Muppets, and lots more.
Here are the movies to catch this week around the Twin Cities.
"Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" (2003/2004)
Through Wednesday, Dec. 17, at various theaters (see below)
For the first time, Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" and "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" are being combined into a single, quite long entity that includes previously unseen footage.
The whole reference-saturated "affair" is dropping into a lot of area theaters with a hefty four-and-a-half-hour runtime. Alternatively, you could stream "Lady Snowblood."
"Hundreds of Beavers" (2023)
