Kyle Lobes suffered multiple broken bones in his hips and legs in a July 30 car crash in Rochester Hills, and doctors won’t let him put weight on either leg for a year.

George VanLuven, 59, was paralyzed in a January 2023 truck crash in St. Clair County and is now living in an extended stay hotel in Midland because he has nowhere else to go.
