If you have been seeing posts about cancer-causing eggs on social media this week, it's because a popular premium egg brand, Eggoz Nutrition, has landed in the middle of a controversy.

Eggoz Nutrition, a brand that has built its reputation on selling fresh, chemical-free eggs, found itself at the centre of a storm.

It started with a video from the YouTube channel Trustified, known for sending health products to independent labs for blind testing. The channel released a report claiming that samples of Eggoz eggs tested positive for AOZ, a metabolite of the antibiotic Nitrofuran.
