AIDA Cruises has announced that it donated 4,700 pieces of furniture from the AIDAluna, which was just drydocked at Chantier Naval in Marseille as part of the AIDA Evolution program.
The company said that the initiative was made possible through cooperation with the Hamburg association DER HAFEN HILFT! e. V., which organizes the distribution of furniture to non-profit organizations.
“Thanks to AIDA and other partners at our side, cleared furniture has become a concrete aid for people in difficult life situations,” said Anja van Eijsden, chairwoman of DER HAFEN HILFT!.
