President Droupadi Murmu laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects worth thirteen thousand eight hundred and seventy crore rupees in a ceremony held at the City Convention Centre in Imphal this evening. She arrived in Imphal this afternoon and is on a two-day visit to Manipur.

The President laid the foundation stones of fourteen projects amounting to one thousand one hundred eighty crore rupees and also inaugurated twelve projects worth two hundred and seven crore rupees. The projects for which the President laid foundation stones and which he inaugurated cover a wide range of areas, including the health sector, education, roads and highways, tribal development, agriculture, electricity, security and administrative sports, infrastructure, drinking water and others.
