This December the weather has been rather hit-and-miss and it feels like we’ve had to reach for umbrellas far more often than we’d like to. Luckily the weather is set to improve over the next few days with sunny spells forecast for Greater Manchester.

According to the latest forecasts by the Met Office , today (Thursday) will see sunny intervals through the day, with highs of 11C. Tomorrow, after some initial early-morning rain, the sun is set to return although it will be slightly cooler with highs of 10C.

Going into the weekend, Saturday should be a similar picture, although by Sunday the rainy weather could return. Before the weather takes a turn, it's a good idea to make the most of the bright days we’ve got coming up with a refreshing walk outside.
