A documentary on one of the "most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance" in Glasgow is set to debut at the Sundance Film Festival next month. ‌

Everybody to Kenmure Street tells the story of the eight-hour stand-off in Pollokshields in May 2021 after the Home Office attempted to detain two Indian men. ‌

Hundreds of residents rushed to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours in a peaceful protest which attracted global headlines. ‌

The film will have its world premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah where it screens on day one of the festival as part of the World Cinema Documentary Competition.
