IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has announced a special compensation measure following widespread flight cancellations and long delays during early December. In an official statement on Thursday, the airline said it will provide travel vouchers worth INR 10,000 to each passenger whose flight was either cancelled or significantly delayed between December 3 and December 5. This move is to address the hardship faced by customers who were “severely impacted” by extensive congestion at several airports during that period.
