Ensuring that older adults in the Jewish community have an opportunity to take part in activities and celebrate Chanukah with others is crucial to their well-being and happiness, according to Shalom Plotkin, owner of Right at Home Cleveland East, and Seth Vilensky, CEO of Kendal at Oberlin.
As people age and grow more dependent on others to help with their everyday way of life, whether it be through an assisted living facility or at-home help, it becomes even more important to keep them engaged in holiday festivities, whether it be through their caretakers or loved ones.
