More than half of workers are looking to change careers due to poor work-life balance and burnout.
Fed up with rigid work schedules, nightmare bosses, and a lack of job satisfaction, British workers are itching to wave goodbye to the daily grind by the age of 53, a new survey reveals. Women are leading the exodus, with nearly a quarter (24%) hoping to escape the rat race before they turn 50.
The poll of 2,000 employed adults found that over half (52%) are desperate for a career change, with burnout (25%), poor work-life balance (23%), and mental health struggles (21%) topping the list of reasons. More than one in five (22%) long for a more active job, rather than being glued to a screen all day, while 38% would prefer a mix of both.
