BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - UVM men’s soccer’s NCAA National Championship winning head coach Rob Dow is the new head coach at Penn State.
The Big Ten program announced the official hiring on social media Thursday.
Multiple sources confirmed that the two sides were deep in negotiations to Channel 3 Sports on Wednesday, ultimately bringing an end to Dow’s nine-season tenure as the man in charge in Burlington.
Jon Sauber of Centre Daily Times in State College, Pennsylvania, reported later Wednesday that Dow was “set” to be named the Nittany Lions’ next head coach.
