TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department has announced a man has been arrested following the bank robbery on the northside of Tucson.

PCSD said Walter Franklin Balser, 47, was arrested in connection with the robbery at Western Alliance Bank near River Road and Campbell Avenue. The bank robbery occurred on Dec. 4 around 11:20 a.m.

The 47-year-old has been charged with robbery and was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.

Officials applauded the work and efforts of PCSD Criminal Investigations Division detectives.
