ABSAROKEE — Stillwater County authorities have identified the two victims killed in Sunday's early morning shooting on Stillwater River Road.

Justine Lynn Dawson, 60, and Nila Lynn Dawson, 20, both of Absarokee, died from gunshot wounds, according to Stillwater County Sheriff Chip Kem.

Two other victims remain hospitalized following the incident.

Stillwater County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an assault in progress at 1015 Stillwater River Road at approximately 3:37 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8. Arriving deputies found four victims with gunshot wounds. The suspect had fled the scene.

Justine Dawson was pronounced dead at the scene. Nila Dawson and two other victims were transported to the hospital, where Nila later died from her injuries.
