BOONVILLE, Mo - A Marshall man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in Cooper County following a traffic stop Tuesday night.

According to probable cause statements, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a pickup truck leaving the scene of an accident on Interstate 70. The suspected pickup truck driven by 29-year-old Jarron Patrick Johnson had reportedly attempted to change lanes and pass a vehicle when it collided with its driver's side. Johnson reportedly left the scene of the accident at a high-rate of speed and later allegedly drove through the median of I-70 near the 108 mile marker.

Johnson and his vehicle were later found at the Love's Travel Stop in Boonville by both Boonville Police and the highway patrol. He attempted to flee but was stopped
