Flurries are in the forecast for Friday, but a more substantial snowfall is headed our way over the weekend.
Storm Team4 said about 1 to 3 inches of snowfall is expected in the D.C. area within the Interestate 95 corridor from late Saturday night through Sunday morning.

If you have holiday shopping to do or plan to get a Christmas tree, Saturday morning and afternoon will be the best time to get those errands done.
Saturday will be warmer with high temperatures in the 40s and mostly dry before the snow moves in later at night.
"Most of the snow is going to move in after about 10 p.m. on Saturday night and it's going to stick with us through Sunday morning," Meteorologist Lauryn Ricketts said.
