Another round of snow — this one expected to start Thursday afternoon into the evening — could make for a difficult evening commute in Eastern Iowa.

The National Weather Service’s Quad Cities bureau is reporting more snow is expected Thursday afternoon and evening, between 1 and 9 p.m.

While a map published Wednesday by NWS shows 1 to 4 inches of snow accumulation is possible across Eastern Iowa, meteorologists said they have low confidence in those amounts “due to potential shift in storm track.”

Drivers are advised to allow for extra travel time and check road conditions at 5 11ia.org before traveling.
