Blanche River Health Foundation (BRHF) has funded the purchase of two new infant warmers, one for the Englehart site and one for the Kirkland Lake site; ensuring Blanche River Health is equipped to safely manage emergency newborn deliveries. The $86,000 investment supports the hospital’s ongoing commitment to patient safety and preparedness.

Although BRH no longer provides planned obstetrical services, emergency live births still occur unexpectedly. The new infant warmers ensure staff can respond immediately with the specialized equipment required to stabilize and support newborns. Each unit provides precise temperature control, integrated resuscitation features, and an ergonomic layout that gives caregivers full, unobstructed access during critical moments.
