A liquor store in Randolph was robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday, Dec. 10, authorities said.
At 9:20 p.m., two suspects entered the liquor store on Route 10 in Randolph, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
One of the suspects confronted an employee in the back of the building, brandishing a firearm, authorities said.
The suspect forced the employee into the bathroom, where they were bound with zip ties and duct tape, authorities said.
At the same time, the other suspect confronted the employee at the front register, also brandishing a firearm, and demanded money, authorities said. The employee complied and turned over the contents of the register, authorities said. The suspect also took additional proceeds and the employee’s cell phone, authorities said.
Both suspects fled the scene through the rear door towards Victory Gardens, authorities said.
The suspects are believed to be men, and were wearing masks, hoods, and gloves, authorities said..
The robbery remains under investigation, authorities said.
