CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Carbondale Police Department alerted the public about a crash on Thursday afternoon.

Police said just after 2 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the scene at the intersection of South Poplar Street and West Walnut Street.

The traffic lights at this intersection are currently out, and drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
