COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A Columbia man prosecutors said was a known gang member has been sentenced to federal prison.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Thursday that 23-year-old Taylor Molic Morris was sentenced to over three years for being a felon in possession of ammunition. The sentence comes after he was found guilty by a jury in June.
Prosecutors said Morris was involved in a June 2023 shooting at a nightclub on Broad River Road, using a gun that he bought weeks prior. Evidence also revealed Morris opened fire four times before fleeing the scene and leaving shell casings behind.
Morris was previously convicted of strong-arm robbery and bank fraud, which banned him from legally possessing firearms and ammunition. He was also on probation at the time of the 2023 shooting and was iden
