TIFFIN, Ohio — A Seneca County nonprofit is working to make sure hundreds of children affected by addiction have something to smile about this holiday season.
Project Noelle, which supports kids impacted by the opioid epidemic, is on track to provide Christmas gifts to more than 200 children — its largest distribution yet.
Project director Dylan Churella said the program has grown significantly since its early days, when it served 50 to 60 children. Local businesses and community partners now help ensure every child receives gifts.
“It’s such a blessing. I’m grateful to be here in Tiffin because our community is pretty amazing,” Churella said.
For Churella, the work is personal.
“I was that father who couldn’t provide for his son, so this is giving back in ways that help me inside too
