Notre Dame’s playoff snub turned into something bigger than Marcus Freeman expected. Athletic directors found out about a memorandum giving the Irish special playoff access next year, and they’re threatening to stop scheduling games against Marcus Freeman’s program.

Yahoo Sports broke that news Wednesday. Trevor Woods saw the chaos and tweeted Freeman should bail for Michigan before the doors close.

“Marcus Freeman should probably go to a blue blood program that has a strong conference,” Woods posted. “There’s a job open at Michigan.”
