The dog that went missing when its owner was assaulted on Sunday has been found, according to police.
San Francisco police said officers found the dog, Charlotte Rose, in the Tenderloin District Wednesday night after asking for the public’s help to find it. The dog’s identity was confirmed, and the dog appeared to be in good health, according to authorities.
The dog was taken to a nearby animal care facility to be checked out and will soon be reunited with its owner, who is still recovering from Sunday’s assault, police said.
