STANFIELD, N.C. (WBTV) - A Charlotte man and now former co-owner of Sycamore Brewing is accused of raping a teenage girl in Stanly County after her parents found the man inside their daughter’s bedroom and called 911, deputies say.

The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office said on Wednesday, Dec. 10, shortly before midnight, that the parents of a 13-year-old girl made a 911 call and said that an unknown man was found in the teenager’s bedroom.

When deputies arrived, they found 44-year-old Justin Brigham naked inside a vehicle nearby, and he was taken into custody without incident.

Brigham was charged with first-degree burglary, statutory rape of a child by assault, indecent liberties with a child.

He was taken to the Stalny County Detention Center and his bond was set at $10 million.
