CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police discovered a body in a car behind a north Charlotte church Thursday morning.

The vehicle matches the description of the car belonging to a missing Charlotte mother, Frezja Baker .

However, investigators have not identified the body found inside the vehicle. As of Thursday night, police had only labeled the case as a death investigation.

Dozens of people joined the search for Baker since her disappearance on Dec. 4. Brittany Robinson, a distant relative, went to the scene on Sanders Avenue after seeing images of Baker’s car on social media.
