Imphal, December 11 2025: As part of its ongoing commitment to support persons with hemophilia, Intas Foundation, Imphal, successfully conducted a 1-Day Genetic Counselling and Free Factor VIII Distribution Programme at the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Porompat.

Held under the Haemophilia Patient Assistance Programme, the event provided crucial genetic counselling services aimed at empowering patients and families with knowledge about hemophilia and its management.

As per a release issued by Intas Foundation, free Factor VIII concentrate was also distributed, with each of the 25 registered patients receiving two vials of 500 IU each to aid in the control and prevention of bleeding episodes.
