The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium announced the first Rockhopper Penguin chick of the season has hatched.
The zoo shared photographs of the chick on social media Thursday. It says the Rockhopper chick hatched during Thanksgiving week. Since then, the chick has grown 670% thanks to its parents keeping it warm and well-fed.
Zookeepers say more arrivals are on their way. Visitors can look out for the new chick during their next visit to the Aquarium.
