RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Rutherford County School Board approved two rezoning proposals for some of the district’s elementary and middle schools.
The district discussed and voted to approve the proposals during the school board meeting Thursday night.

Two concepts were up for consideration for four elementary schools. Those concepts included:
Concept 1, about 160 students would be rezoned from Walter Hill to Wilson Elementary, while about 350 students would be rezoned from Stewarts Creek to Brown’s Chapel Elementary.
Concept 2, about 100 fewer students would be rezoned from Stewarts Cree
