A 40-year-old man was hospitalized and is in stable condition after being stabbed in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Wednesday night, Dec. 10, police said.
Police said at around 8.06 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call regarding an assault at the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station, serving the D Train within the confines of Transit District 11 / 52nd Precinct.
“Upon arrival, officers observed a 40-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest,” a police spokesperson said, adding that a preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and an unknown male perpetrator had gotten into a verbal dispute and the perpetrator had stabbed the victim with an unknown object.
