Signage has gone up at the site of the brand new Odeon Luxe cinema which is set to open at Cabot Circus in February 2026. The huge blue and white branding can be seen from the other side of the popular shopping destination marking what was previously the Showcase Cinema de Lux cinema venue.

The Cinema de Lux closed its doors for good back in November 2023 . It had been the biggest in Bristol, boasting 14 screens - the same as the Showcase at Avonmeads retail park. When Cabot Circus first opened in 2008, it had been one of the key 'anchor attractions' and over the years became a major reason for many people's visits to the city centre.
