A 39-year-old man will spend five to 12 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to attacking several police officers and using his urine and feces to vandalize a holding cell, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said.
On the morning of April 4, Lancaster Police stopped Robinson E. Pena, who does not have a fixed address, near East Chestnut Street for disregarding a crosswalk signal and shouting.
Officers took Pena into custody and transported him to a holding cell, where he smeared feces on himself, the walls, floor, door and intercom system.
When police tried to intervene, Pena kicked an officer in the chest, scratched another officer on the arm and bit a third officer’s hand, breaking skin.
