MURRAY – Lake Chem Community Federal Credit Union says the company plans to close its Murray branch at the end of the month.

The Murray Lake Chem office is located at 1105 Octane Drive across from Pocket’s gas station. The building was constructed in 2019 after the business was previously located at the corner of 12th and Olive streets. Lake Chem Director of Marketing Jessica Adams said the three employees currently working in Murray will be transferred to the Draffenville and Calvert City locations after Murray closes its office effective Jan. 1. The Draffenville branch will now be the branch closest to Murray, but she said the company remains committed to serving its Murray customers even without a physical office here.
