Bentonville-based Empathy Health Technologies, the makers of Sober Sidekick, an app and social network that helps users maintain their sobriety, has raised $7.6 million to scale its product, according to a news release and a post on social media site LinkedIn.
The Sober Sidekick platform prioritizes anonymity and helps with sobriety by connecting those battling addiction with people who can empathize with their situation, according to the company's website. Its total funding to date is $11.4 million.
