Under the agreement, The 808 Ranch will acquire more than 400 head of Angus cattle and manage 1,752 acres on the Cowskin Prairie, north of Southwest City, between Missouri 43 and Stateline Road, according to a news release. The property is about five miles south of The 808 Ranch on the Elk, which was established five years ago.
According to the release, the expansion will be called The 808 Ranch on the Prairie. The expansion comes after the April 2025 announcement of The 808 Ranch at the Ridge, a 1,000-acre operation near Pea Ridge in Benton County.
