New Delhi: Jacob Duffy picked up five wickets as New Zealand defeated West Indies by 9 wickets in the second Test of the three-match series at Basin Reserve in Wellington on Friday, December 12.

The Blackcaps were missing several frontline pacers and were without Blair Tickner , who dislocated his shoulder while fielding on opening day, but they still ripped through the West Indies batting line-up to set up a 56-run target for the batters.

Devon Conway smashed an unbeaten 28 runs, and Kane Williamson was also unbeaten on 16 as New Zealand crossed the winning line before tea. It was Duffy’s second consecutive fifer in the series and was assisted by fellow seamer Michael Rae, who took three wickets each in both innings.
