New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has sacked four of its flight operations inspectors after IndiGo’s operations were disrupted across the country.
These officials, known as FOIs, are senior members of the DGCA, who are entrusted with the task of regulatory and safety oversight. They are routinely assigned to keep track of airline functioning. ADVERTISEMENT
According to reports, the sacked officials are consultant Rish Raj Chatterjee, SFO Seema Jhamnani, consultant Anil Kumar Pokhariyal, and consultant Priyam Kaushik.
