A homemade slam gun was discovered after police on e-bike patrols became suspicious of a teenager in Birmingham .

West Midlands Police said a 19-year-old man was stopped on Soho Road, near the junction with Barn Lane.

A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

Police said a Rambo knife and a machete were recovered as well as a slam gun following a search of an address.
