HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - No. 5 UConn men’s basketball team takes the court against Texas in Hartford on Friday night.

The Longhorns are the last non-conference opponent for the Huskies.

Tip off at the PeoplesBank Arena is set for 8 p.m.

Fans can watch the game on Fox.

UConn said Friday night is a “stripe out.” That means fans in specific seats should check their sections to determine if they should wear blue or white.

The 9-1 Huskies are winners of five in a row, including a 77-73 victory over No. 18 Florida at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.

UConn is 8-3 all time against Texas.

Friday’s game marks the end of a home-and-home series between the teams. UConn won last year’s meeting 76-65 .

The Longhorns last played on Monday and won over Southern U.
