Starting tomorrow, much of northern England and Scotland is under a yellow weather warning for rain. The announcement was made yesterday, but has since been upgraded.

Initially, the warning only covered the weekend, ending on Sunday, the 14th of December . Now, it's been extended until Monday the 15th.

Some new alerts for rain have also been announced for areas of Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. However, the North of England's warning is the longest, lasting three days total. The yellow weather warning comes into effect at 6pm tomorrow , December 13th, and ends at 6pm on Monday, the 15th of December.
