Happy Friday! A southerly wind flow will boost our temperatures today. Look for a mix of sun and clouds, with highs in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.
A series of cold fronts will knock temperatures down over the weekend. The first one arrives tonight, dropping highs into the upper 50s north of I-20 and 60s south on Saturday. We also cannot rule out a stray shower or two Saturday afternoon. The best opportunity to see rain is in the evening as an Arctic front sweeps across the region. Coverage will be limited. Behind this front, bitterly cold air moves in on Sunday with highs in the low 40s. Some areas may struggle to climb out of the upper 30s.
Monday morning will be the coldest it has been since winter, with temperatures dipping into the low 20s. Some upper teens are also possible.
