Three men with links to Bristol have been jailed after a cross-border operation uncovered their roles in a drug importation plot.
Adil Alime, 30 and Darren Fouracres, 47, from Bristol, along with Anthony Clark, 46, were sentenced yesterday (December 11) following a lengthy operation by Avon and Somerset Police Serious and Organised Crime Team (SOCT) and Jersey Customs and Immigration Service (JCIS).
The investigation began on June 1, 2022, when Bristol man Elijah Silbourne travelled from Poole in Dorset to the Channel Island of Jersey via ferry.
Officers from Jersey Customs and Immigration Service (JCIS) searched his vehicle and discovered one kilo of cocaine hidden in a carrier bag in the boot.
